I am excited to share about my Bluejay Groups. Last month I had about ten students who came to my office to complete various projects. The three projects the students worked on were designing a school logo, creating prayers, and the challenging dice game. In the school logo, students designed and colored a new logo for our school. Students came up with several new ideas geared around our faith. When finished, they moved on to creating new prayers based on children's songs. Students created new prayers that went to different tunes. We are going to starting integrating them into our morning prayers. I have included them below for your viewing. When done with those projects, students were confronted with the challenge of modifying a six sided dice to land on the number six when rolled 8 our of 10 times. Students used various equipment from the classroom to create different contraptions to ensure the six was rolled.
Starting in November, my new bluejay group was given the challenge of building a two lane bridge from large and small popsicle sticks. The only criteria is that the students have 50 regular popsicle sticks, 30 large popsicle sticks, liquid glue, and masking tape. I cannot wait to see what designs the students come up with for their bridges.

Jesus is awesome
he had 12 apostles
then he died on the cross
then he arose from the dead
then he said he’d come again!
Then he sent the holy spirit
to send the apostles from fear to fearless.
They spread the word to everyone
so they could have everlasting life.
